As part of new year review process of my own things, I observed certain things during last one year and these hot buttons are going to create issues in my behavior
1. Lack of speed - Some of the members are not having sufficient energy when they speak or act on certain things. I really my cool sometimes.
2. Not attentive to small things- Do I have to follow up on even small things?
3. High Maintenance – it is very intersting. Some managers like lot of interaction from the team. But some feel that high interaction sometimes lead to high maintenance so, become tireless.
4. Straight to the point- just check are your members are straight to the point or talking long route to reach the target
5. Micromanage- I do not want my team to have this. Each of them should do their things
6. Proactive- are all enough proactive? Or just wait for other to act upon?
7. Cross the border- are you able to apply your knowledge across floor. Do not limit to just current app
8. Spend time wisely-hopefully by everyone
Then I think, how my manager thinks about all these things on me.
