Architecture is more than high level talk

EA is more than high level and broad planning effort, it is part of daily life to enable agility and simplicity by looking for commonality and reuse patterns to establish common foundation and building blocks. It looks at the big picture to find the commonality and reuse patterns to establish common foundation an building blocks. The high level planning is just the beginning of EA rather than the end of EA. We should not get stock at the beginning and forget that EA was initiated to improve the limitation of stovepipe systems. EA is not all high level talk to enable simplicity and agility, it touches the developer more than we thought. By providing the common foundation and building blocks and leading the developers to the reuse resources, the developer can concentrate their efforts to align technology to business need rather than struggle with the complexity of technology.
