One of the burdens of current society is Inflation. And it is caused majority of extent if not for full extent because of price rise by the government of India. We import more than 60% of our oil required for transportation. Indian economy will get wiped out if we keep continue this imports and pay huge amounts and diverting funds allocated for other growth area like health, Education and Agriculture. Entire world knows that oil prices will go up as balance demand supply across nations. Other countries are opting for alternatives. In fact some of the agricultural lands are being diverted to get alcohol based fuels. Are we balancing it? one side we lose agricultural land getting converted without getting substantial output and other side we divert funds for importing fuel?
I believe awareness has to come from every individual on this. Who should be blamed for double digit inflation? Why cannot we use public transportation? Well, do we have good public transportation? Government need to think on these lines and start providing sufficient transportation availability and make public aware of fuel consumption and impact. Same time, each individual need to think about fuel consumption and import bill of that for further consequences. It is predicted by investment bak firms and research groups that fuel prices to go even more in the coming months.
If sufficient measures are not taken economies will get wiped out and whatever efforts are considered will go waste.

1. Public transportation
2. Alternative fuels
3. Less convoys for VVIPs
4. Reduce traffic congestions
5. Good Infrastructure
