Scalability

Scalability is very common term we use while building applications. What does this mean? Increase throughput under increased load when hardware is added. So, if the performance of the system improves after adding hardware, proportionate to the capacity added is called scalable system. Scalability can be on load, geographic or adminstrative.
Also, scale vertically ( adding resources to single node) or scale horizontally(add more nodes) .
Also, we can adopt database scalability and Design scalability in the applications for growth of enterprise apps.
