Today it is Shankar Kambhampaty

Days are changing and with new things are in place. for sometime, everyday news is to hear about someone leaving the organisation, particularly after reorg. I do not say that it was not expected. After Jan 7th things are not moving straightforward in the org, but for me not much change. not because I am out of the sphere but for a part of the entire org. I can say it is all happening in phases. Jan to March 2009 as one phase where organisation is not aware of new owner. Since then things are come to a standard with new owner taking over. Obviously everyone thought that we are better placed and we are of course. As the case with any acquisition, in this org also , top management started feeling the discomfort while someone start asking to put things in place while it was Raja(Raju) rule earlier where everyone had a free hand.
Yesterday, we were told about Shankar moving out. in fact I was expecting this movement as I see from his expressions and discussions during the last two weeks. After all, we change and change is must for everyone to understand about other side.

I know Shankar, since I joined this org and he is very accommodative in many ways and also has strong technical command with a book "Enterprise SOA" in his hand along with bunch of top certifications and with trust among the tech folks about his capability. I like his enthusiasm for every aspect. I feel, why can not I get excited for events. Unfortunately, I start seeing both sides of the coin for every event. Can I be that much optimistic as Shankar. May not be. He has passion. sometimes I feel, why an human being need to act differently for different situations. Can I hide my feelings and project uniformity. or is it ignorance?

Anyways, I learnt a lot from Shankar and I miss one leader as my immediate charge. All the best Shankar.
