Temple Hundi and Endowment departments in AP, India

When we visit temple, we try to put some money in Hundi (Cash box) assuming that that money is spent on improvement of temple and Hindu Dharma propagation. That is where we are making wrong assumptions. Just google how the endowment department works in Andhra Pradesh. How much cash is generated in Hindu temples and how that amount is spent. How many acres of Hindu temples land is auctioned and got the crores of rupees, subsequently diverted the amount into other areas including other religions. How much percentage of Hundi money is getting back to temples? Is there a better propagation of money based on revenue of each temples?
Next time, when you visit temple, simply distribute money to needy and poor Brahmans rather than putting all money in Hundi.
