Everyone has to focus on task. That is the only way we need to keep ourselves engaged in any activity. How do we make sure that we focus on objectives? One best way is communication. In a team, we can have various ways of communication systems like informal discussions on issues, one on ones, small discussions, team meetings, deep dives, op reviews and presentations and so on. All these things are to make sure where we are and how to proceed.
While doing so, manager has to make sure about these communication channels fortify the team and focus on task rather than create issues within team.
