Ramayana is the only super market here. BT Badak campus is 6000 acres and clean and green. Outside town is nothing. food is big challenge. Vegetarians difficult survive. we do nto get most of the Indian food material. there is no Hotel for eating. here people are very disciplined. particularly for traffic and parking. Time sense is very high. reaching Bontang is big challenge. Balikpappan is nearest international airport. in this airport, no one speaks English. from Balikpappan to Bontang, BT BADAK flight takes 30 mins otherwise it is 6 hrs road journey. In between Bontang and Balikpappan, there is a place called Samaranda, known for Coal and oil. Most of the Indian companies have presence here.
