Walk Softly ....Work and Life Balance

I just completed reading of Walk Softly and carry a big idea by Don jones. He stated about seven lessons to finding meaning, Passion and Balance in our life and work. Walk Softly is about the soft skills that make the hard difference.
One important point he emphasized was "Your experience will be your teacher. Pay attention."
1. "Soft is Hard. Business is not just about numbers and life is not just about facts.Soft skills create the hard numbers. Great managers manage themselve first. Your future as a manager is through people. You will learn this through wisdom or experience. It is your choice."
2. You have reached a place in your life where you first have to change yourself and your view of the world, in order for the world to be changed by you. The stuff that you have always beleived about the world is precisely what will hold you back from experiencing it for what it really is. When Your can is full of garbage, dump it out.
3. Stop look and listen. You cannot control waht others do. your power is won or lost in how you choose to react.
4. When you are surrounded by chaos, ask yourself one question? " are the choices you are making leading yourself and others toward meaning?" If they are, continue; if they are not, stop.
People need to feel that they are moving from relative levels of chaos an isolation toward higher levels of order and community.
5. Jump or be active always.
6. Walksoftly and carry a big idea
7. What is real. Any thing exists physically. People and others. Work is product of real things. understand real things.
